What is the Polar Plunge?
The coolest event of the year!

Experience the 2010 Polar Bear Plunge and you’ll be exposed to a spectacle like no other! This is the most fun you will have at the beach in February! Plunge participants take a quick dip in Lake Texoma to raise funds for Special Olympics and the local volunteer fire departments.

How the Contest Works

We are searching for “royalty” that has unique Plunge style. They should show off their cool weather style. We are seeking creative and unique costumes that tell the story of the event. To enter the contest, contestants should arrive in their finest Plunge attire (NOTE: Creativity is “king” or “queen”)

Register at the Lakeside Room at Pelican’s Landing Restaurant at Cedar Mills.

The contestants will take part in the Polar Parade and will pass by the judges.

Winners will be announced when the parade ends.

Hypothermic Hon and Sir Arctic will help give out awards to the Polar Game Winners

The teams for the Cool Team Challenge are made up of 4 people and will also take part in the Polar Games.

The Polar Games
Teams that registered for the Cool Team Challenge may participate in the Polar Games.

There will be prizes for each event and will be awarded at the completion of each game.

The Games are:
Mean Ice Machine
Advance to Broadwalk
Bag-o-Shirt
