Cedar Mills Yacht Club
The Cedar Mills Yacht Club is a fun, exciting part of Cedar Mills Marina in North Texas on Lake Texoma. With a large membership, CMYC holds numerous fun social events, competitive racing and informative seminars each year and is one of the premier racing clubs on Lake Texoma.
The current clubhouse was built in 1991 after the original building was destroyed in the “hundred-year flood”. The building offers members lots of creature comforts such as a fireplace, full kitchen, sparkling clean showers, library, television, interior and exterior sound system, conversation and meeting areas, and wireless internet access. The clubhouse’s deck over looks the center cove of Cedar Mills marina, with panoramic views of the west end of Lake Texoma.
Fishing Dock
Lake Texoma in North Texas is famous for great fishing and is one of the best places in the world to catch really big stripers. Cedar Mills has a wonderful fishing dock located right where the big ‘uns like to play! Great fun for kids and adults too!

The professional fishing guide services headquartered at Cedar Mills are independent from our marina and resort and do their own scheduling. Large groups using multiple boats are not a problem. Stringer Striper Guide Service
Stringers always have fish! Needless to say, Charley Stringer is one of the best of Texoma’s professional, full-time striper guides. Licensed since 1982, Charley began fishing full time on Texoma in 1987, learning all the hottest spots. In 1988, he moved his operation to Cedar Mills Marina & Resort, and you can almost always find him on the Fishing Fleet Dock, either just getting back in from a trip or cleaning a big batch of fish!
Stringer Striper Guide Service is aggressive, experienced in finding fish and confident that you can catch them. Charley’s 30+ years of professional guide experience ensures that you will have one of the best fishing trips of your life.
He provides all fishing equipment (rods, reels, tackle, live bait, etc.) and all you have to do is catch ’em! Fish until your limit is reached or up to eight hours, and you don’t even have to clean your catch! Charley will do it for you! He estimates that some 6,500 fish per year find their way to his client’s tables. Now that’s some fish!
